    WORKSHOP 1 | Reaching Muslims

Do you want to know some basic skills for ministering to Muslims? Jo will explore some principles for understanding, communicating with and ministering to Muslims which can be applied here in Australia or throughout the world.

Jo has pioneered a ministry to an ethnic Muslim minority (folk Islam) in Siberia and is involved in a women’s network serving former Muslim Gospel-workers from around the world.

    Presenter: Jo Kay

WORKSHOP 2 (Pastors & Church Mission Committee) | Good Luck or Good Management?

This seminar explores ways your church can intentionally develop cross-cultural workers. You’ll come out with ideas and tools to do a better job of making global disciples.

Presenters: Tim Silberman, Graeme Dunkley, Tim Kay

WORKSHOP 3 | Choices: How to Decide?

So – God is stirring your heart to go on mission. What’s next?

If investigating mission options feels overwhelming, you are not alone! If you’re beginning to explore or are further into the journey of discernment, come and learn practical steps to navigate your way forward.

Presenters: J&B have many years of service both overseas and locally.

WORKSHOP 4 | Testimonies of Amazing Grace

Zeph 3:17 “…He will rejoice over you with singing.” Listen to the Lord’s glorious melody in the highs and lows of people’s lives, as they share amazing testimonies of being called from other faiths into His saving grace. Plus, learn tips in discipling people from other faiths as our panellists share insights from their own growth and experience.

WORKSHOP 5 | Sounds of Worship: Music Across the Nations

Music is integral to every culture and people group across the world. If we reflect on the Psalms in Scripture, the writers expressed their hearts and emotions for almost every situation in life. As part of The Divine Melody, learn how Scripture through music brings people into a deeper understanding of our Holy God.

This Workshop is for all, not only for musicians. Discover ways to share the Good News in culturally appropriate ways.

In Workshops Session 2, we have:

WORKSHOP 1 | Reaching Hindus & South Asians

With the thousands of South Asians coming to our shores, we need to be ready to reach out to them! Come and learn how the Hindu worldview is vastly different from Christianity and how we can use their cultural values of community and experience to share the Lordship and salvation of the Lord Jesus.

    Presenter: Clive Buultjens

WORKSHOP 2 | Sending Families, not just Adults

What does it mean to take your family on mission? Many parents wrestle with fears about bringing children on the field – but what if they aren’t just along for the ride, but key participants in God’s work?

This panel will explore how missionary kids (MKs) can be prepared, cared for, and involved in ministry. Hear from those who have lived the Third Culture Kid (TCK) experience, and gain insight into navigating life overseas and returning well.

WORKSHOP 3 | Choices: How to Decide?

    As above.

WORKSHOP 4 | Testimonies of Amazing Grace

    As above.

WORKSHOP 5 | Sounds of Worship: Music Across the Nations

mission partner FAQs

  • Our Mission Partners are a core part of this conference, and we believe that they are what make ReachOut a truly unique experience!

Mission Partners can be any Christian Organisation, Mission Agency or Bible College that is focussed on helping people consider their part in God’s global mission.

If you would like to register as a ReachOut Mission Partner for the first time, please read and sign our Mission Partner Policy and submit it to reachoutmissions@missionsinterlink.org.au

  • Annually, ReachOut dedicates an area to Mission Partner Stands. Attendees are encouraged to engage with these various Mission Agencies, Christian Organisations and Bible Colleges during break times, introducing them to the various opportunities available to serve in God’s global mission.

If you'd like to consider partnering with us in 2025, have a read here of what’s involved and register by 18 July 2025.

  • Our Reps Briefing is a time for Mission Partners to gather before ReachOut begins, meet with our speaker, be briefed on what to expect at ReachOut and share in a time of prayer and fellowship.

We strongly recommend that all of our Mission Partners be in attendance for this event.

Our 2025 Reps Briefing will be on 19 September, at One Family Church, Granville.

    Our 2025 Program |

  • Traditionally, each year at ReachOut Missions Conference has seen an offering taken for a specific mission focused Project.

In 2024, $11,000 was raised through the generosity of our ReachOut Attendees, including a large gift from an anonymous donor. These funds supported a Pioneers’ Project at the Restitution Bible Project in Myanmar. We hope to see many more Mission Partners blessed and encouraged in their work through this annual offering.

Only Mission Partners who register to attend ReachOut 2025 are invited to submit a Project Proposal. If you’d like to apply, read the submission guidelines and submit your application by 18 July 2025.

  • This $4000 scholarship has been established to support current Bible College Students, aiding recipients in their training and preparation for the mission field.

Read the application guidelines here, and apply by 18 July 2025.

  • ReachOut Corporate Sponsorship is a relatively new option we have made available to Christian businesses and organisations that are not deemed ‘Mission Partners.’

These are Christian businesses and organisations that are not necessarily ‘missions-focussed’ but whose values align with ours in seeing people inspired, connected and involved in God’s global mission. For example, in 2024, EA Insurance joined as Corporate Sponsors.

If you think this accurately describes your place of work, please contact us at reachoutmissions@missionsinterlink.org.au to find out more about how you can take up this opportunity.
