Sydney Witbooi and his wife, Andrea, were both born in South Africa, though Andrea is of German descent. They joined OMF International in 1984 and have lived and served the Lord in five countries over the years, the most recent being Singapore. At present, Sydney is OMF’s International Director for Southeast Asia, with pastoral and strategic oversight of the ministries in five countries in the region. They have three married daughters, each of whom lives in a different country. They also have three granddaughters, two of whom are in the UK while the third resides in Jordan.
Rev Doctor Darrell Jackson
Darrell is an ordained Baptist pastor, with missionary experience in Europe, short-term mission experience in Africa and Asia, and serves as Associate Professor of Missiology, Morling College. His wife, Beth, is a former missionary and is now the lead Pastor at St Ives Baptist Church. They have two children who attend Covenant Christian School, Belrose.
He is the Secretary of the Australian Association for Mission Studies, a Mission Commission Associate of the WEA, a member of the National Leadership Team for Missions Interlink in Australia, a consultant to Global Interaction, and is a Board member of European Christian Mission International. Darrell is passionate about Jesus, mission, and Jeeps (in that order!) and likes to remind his students about this – often!
