What is ReachOut conference?

ReachOut conference is an annual Missions conference held the 2nd weekend of September, in Katoomba. It's an opportunity to explore what God is doing globally through His people; people that have answered the call to work cross-culturally within Australia & overseas. Over 60 organisations have representative to chat with about what their mission is involved in and where, and how you can be involved as a go’er or sender.

Who runs ReachOut?

ReachOut conference has an organising committee drawn from a number of different mission agencies and groups that long to see the heart of missions in the hearts of Christians. ReachOut missions conference is a ministry of Missions Interlink, who do a whole lot of good stuff it's worth checking out.

What Accommodation is available?


Accommodation at the Katoomba Christian Convention (Mountain Camp) is dormitory style with 4 – 12 single beds in each room (2-6 bunks). Families with children will be allocated a room together however couples may be split into guys and girls rooms depending on the number of singles, couples & families registered.

Accommodation includes breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning. Saturday lunch & dinner is included in the ReachOut conference fees.


CMS offers local dorm style accommodation with rooms of 2-4 beds and a shared bathroom.


The camping option is located at the Katoomba Christian Convention and is available for Saturday night only. Accommodation includes breakfast on Sunday morning with those staying at KCC in mountain camp. Sat lunch & dinner is included in the ReachOut conference fees.

You will need to provide all of your own camping & sleeping equipment.

Is there a bookshop?

There will be an excellent supply of books available for purchase at ReachOut.

We are gathering together books, study guides and reference material which address the area of global mission in general. Books recommended by our speakers, including their own titles, will also be available.

Is there food provided?

People who have booked accommodation for the weekend will also receive breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. If you're still hungry or hanging out for a coffee or tea the ReachOut cafe will have Fair Trade coffee/tea and a selection of snack foods available during the weekend to purchase.

Conference registration fees include lunch and dinner Saturday & lunch on Sunday.

ReachOut 4 Kids is open to all school children upto and including year 6. This time is a mission education and experience justfor the kids! Pre-registrations are necessary and you will also need to signyour children in and out. High school children are encouraged to participate inthe main conference. ReachOut Creche is for pre-school children from the age of 1.

ReachOut 4 Kids and the ReachOut Creche run during the morning & afternoon sessions of the conference.
